OK I confess I really love squirrels. Most people don't want them at their feeder but I do! I saw this squirrell on t.v. a few years ago. Quite clever! I think people should give squirrels more credit!

I recently adopted a puppy from a wonderful women who runs an animal rescue. I did find though that many of these rescues are getting really strict in who they will adopt too. I am sure they have seen a lot and have their reasons, but the goal is to find these animals a nice home and it concerns me that they are missing out on some great homes just because there rules scare people away.
As for the Ellen situation, perhaps Ellen went about it in the wrong way by not asking the rescue ahead of time, but.....this rescue agency should AT LEAST go to these people's home to see if the dog can stay there and has found a good home. There are so many animals out there in the cages at the pound, here is a family who really really wants this dog!

I personally don't think Ellen did anything wrong. She was just trying to find the dog a nice home and knew someone who she thought would take care of the dog and love it. Sometimes when you have other pets they just don't get along, it happens!
